Getting There
Dalaman Airport (DLM) is the closest to Sarigerme so transits can be very short and easy. The airport is just 17 kilometers away from the village, and the drive hardly ever exceeds 30 minutes. The best recommendation for getting to the hotel – to do this with the least possible worry – is booking a private or shared shuttle transfer online in advance. Such services have a driver standing at the airport holding your name card and drive you directly to the hotel.
Taxis can also be taken from the airport terminal. It isn’t very far, but one should always negotiate a fare with the driver before starting off in order to get a reasonable price. It offers an extremely quick and straightway trip to the hotel. Renting a car from Dalaman Airport is a great alternative because it allows you to conveniently and thoroughly access and explore the rest of the magnificent Turquoise Coast while within that region.
Travellers on a very strict budget might take a Havaş or MUTTAŞ airport shuttle from Dalaman to Ortaca, a nearby town. From Ortaca main bus station (otogar), there are very cheap ‘dolmuş' which run frequently and cover the last 20 minutes of the journey to Sarigerme village. The dolmuş lets out onto the main street, just a very short stroll from the hotel.
